I just read on North Main Street, a sign that said our hospital is ranked No. 1 in the state for heart failure. How cool is that?

Yes, it is cool that Missouri Delta has a #1 ranking in the state of Missouri! The banners around town read that Missouri Delta Medical Center is ranked No. 1 in CLINICAL PROCESSES OF CARE, which is based on the most current data available from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. This means that Missouri Delta Medical Center ranks higher than ALL other hospitals in Missouri in regards to quality patient care in three measures identified by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid from the Department of Health and Human Services. The three measures are Surgery, Pneumonia and Heart Failure. Missouri Delta Medical Center is also proud to be ranked #3 in the state of Missouri for Patient Experience as determined by CMS HCAPS based on surveys that an independent agency provides to the patients. Missouri Delta is also recognized as a 2013 Top Performer on Key Quality Measures(r) by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States.
