Generating generators

I wanted to address the person who needed someone to work on her home generator. I would recommend SEMO Generators in Morley. The young man there is Wade Amelung. He works for Earl Cheek. You can reach them at 573-934-0120 or 573-262-3251.

Regenerating

This is Wade and I'm calling about the person wanting someone to service a generator. My number is 573-212-2600. I'm available almost anytime of the day. If nobody answers, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Ben's been there

The person that says we need a president that lives from paycheck to paycheck, I would ask them to consider Dr. Ben Carson. Dr. Carson was raised in poverty in Detroit. You can read about him or watch his video "Gifted Hands." He's a real hero for today.

Read and understand

The thing about same sex marriage. Go to your Bible. Go to Romans 1 and 24. Genesis 17, 4 and 9; II Peter 2 and 6; I Corinthians, 6, 9 and 10; Leviticus 20 and 13. Anyone that can't read this and understand it, I feel sorry for them. If I was a pastor of the church and the President of the United States went to that church and he agreed with same sex marriage, I would either resign my position or he would leave my congregation. This country is on its way out. Bad, bad, bad.

No rights to say no

I would just like to say that John Kerry and Obama do not speak for me. As an American citizen, I think before 10,000 Syrian refugees are let into this country, the American people should have a voice in the matter. I don't think they should be let in this country. Where are my rights to say no?

Blow it in the wind

This is in response to the SpeakOut on Sept. 11 on "No resting in peace." Me and my husband went out and put flowers on my grandparents' and aunts' graves. One of my grandparents has a black tombstone. I had to take my hand and wipe all the grass off two tombstones to find theirs. It's a little ridiculous how that place looks. Like the person who called said, it looks like they've baled hay out there. They could have taken a blower or a mulcher or caught it with something on their mower as they were mowing. It's unreal how this cemetery is looking. I think they can go do a little better than they do also.
