Getting out to vote

I called to congratulate Obama. I see he started another successful Democrat voter drive by letting nonviolent prisoners out of the prison so they can vote Democratic in the next election.

Just drop it

If they would drop Common Core instead of just giving it another name, our children may not be ranked the lowest in the area. Eighth, ninth, tenth graders, they don't understand Common Core. When they have a test, they don't know anything about it because they weren't taught that way. And also, Common Core is for dummies. That tells you a lot about the school system in Sikeston, Mo.

A pave rave

Missouri Department of Transportation did a wonderful job resurfacing the Baseline Road in Scott County. Thank you very much. Now we need to resurface Highway 77 from Kelly High School all the way to the Dorena ferry. It all needs to be resurfaced.
