The Sikeston Career and Technology Center sign was recently completed due to a generous donation by the Sikeston Jaycees. SCTC welding student Josh Parks organized the project as a way to give back to the community and work toward the completion of a Boy Scout project (Troop 200). "It was a rewarding experience and I couldn't imagine the project turning out any better," Parks said. "When the Sikeston Jaycees stepped in and donated all of the materials and a local mason offered to help out, I knew things were going to take off. Without their help this would not have been possible. " A dedication plaque will be placed on the sign in honor of the Sikeston Jaycees and Josh Parks for their contributions. The sign can be seen at the corner of Bulldog Drive and Pine Street.
