Missouri IDs will still be accepted at federal courthouse

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- The U.S. Marshal's Office in Eastern Missouri has released the following statement in response to concerns that Missouri state IDs would no longer be accepted in federal courthouses due to the federal Real ID Act: "At this point in time we are not changing our identification and security procedures in response to the Real ID Act. When you come to a federal courthouse in the Eastern District of Missouri and present a Missouri driver's license, it is still considered a valid ID for the purposes of entering the courthouse."
