Imo's Pizza raises money for Sikeston Bulldog Pantry and New Madrid County Central Project Graduation
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Imo's Pizza at Rhodes recently held fundraisers to help two local school districts.
The fundraisers raised $232.60 for the Sikeston Bulldog Pantry and $291.87 to New Madrid County Central High School's Project Graduation.
The money for the Sikeston Bulldog Pantry was generated during a day-long fundraiser held Oct. 18 while the money for the New Madrid County Central Project Graduation was gained during a day-long fundraiser held on Oct. 6. Imo's Pizza at Rhodes Sikeston General Manager David Gelsheimer recently presented the check to Lynne Bizzell DeWitt for the Sikeston Bulldog Pantry and Michelle Westcoat of New Madrid County Central Project Graduation.
The donations equaled 10 percent of Imo's Pizza purchases made Oct. 6 and Oct. 18 at Sikeston's Imo's Pizza at Rhodes including gift cards. The organization's earning potential was not limited to only a few hours of operation or just customers that mentioned the school upon ordering. Rather, Imo's Pizza at Rhodes allowed the group to benefit from all purchases made that day. Imo's Pizza helped Sikeston Bulldog Pantry publicize the fundraiser by providing fliers and reminder stickers to share with students' families and Facebook posts to reach its social media followers.
Since launching its school fundraising efforts in March 2017, Imo's Pizza and Imo's Pizza at Rhodes locations have raised more than $10,776 for local students. Participating restaurants are located in Perryville, Cape Girardeau, Scott City and Sikeston and are owned by PAJCO, Inc., also known as Rhodes convenience stores.
Imo's Pizza invites any interested school to book a 10 percent fundraising day with its locations or presell Imo's Pizza frozen pizzas and baked pizza vouchers. Interested schools should contact their local Imo's Pizza at Rhodes.
