DOGWOOD, Mo. -- Max Davidson, 73, died Feb. 16, 2018.
Born Oct. 26, 1944, in Sikeston, son of the late Joe and Lucille Banks Davidson, he was a member of the Abundant Grace Church of Bertrand. He founded and owned D&D Lubricants, serving farmers and agricultural-based businesses in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee until his retirement in 2014.
His wife, Jane Davidson, preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 2017.
Survivors include: one son, Todd Davidson of Dexter; two stepsons, Roy Lee and Billy Alsup; one sister, MontyFurlong of East Prairie; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Thursday at Abundant Grace Church in Bertrand with Larry Kirby, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Danny Davidson, David Barnett, John Anderson, Joshua Tobe, Mike Glaus and David Glaus.
Honorary pallbearers will be: James Furlong, Butch McHaney, Dwayne Coots and Lan Coots.
Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of all arrangements.
