SIKESTON -- Roy Lee Alsup II, age 57, died Friday, March 2, 2018.

Born Dec. 2, 1960, to Roy Lee Alsup who survives of Sikeston and the late Jane Stacy Davidson.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Max Davidson.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had been a cabinet maker for Alsup Woodworking and later was a driver for MTS Trucking.

In addition to his father, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Roy Lee (Alisha) Alsup III of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Elizabeth (Hunter) Sykes and Rachel Alsup both of Jackson, Tenn.; one brother, Billy Alsup of St. Louis; one sister and brother-in-law, Jill (Michael) Helms of Sikeston; one stepbrother, Todd Davidson of Dexter; six grandchildren, Madison Alsup, Nolen Alsup, Smith Alsup, Jaylen Harris, Ryleigh Sykes and Tynleigh Sykes; and his special friend, Pam Little of Sikeston.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services will be held Monday, March 5 at noon. Tim Farrenburg will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Marty Presley, Steven Plunk, Roy Alsup III, Darryl Alsup, Daniel Pierce, Dalton Pierce, Garrett Alsup, Levi Alsup and Nathan Rodgers.
