CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Rosa Lee Fluegge, 95, died April 8, 2018, at the Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.

Born Sept. 23, 1922, in Lusk, daughter of the late Charles D. and Clara B. Brawner Martin, she graduated in 1947 from Diehlstadt High School and moved to Springfield, where she graduated from business college. She then returned to Charleston where she was bookkeeper for the RC Davis Gin in Charleston and then employed at the Citizens Bank until her retirement. She was a member of Lutheran Ladies Aid and Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

On June 12, 1949, she married Marvin E. Fluegge, who preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 2015.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Martin, C.D. Martin and Alfred Martin; and three sisters, Lillie Linebaugh, Addie Linebaugh and Martha Snowden.

Survivors include: three children and their spouses, Robert and Irene Fluegge of Jefferson City, Carolyn and David Evans of Charlotte, Tenn., and Sharon and Larry Collins of Charleston; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at noon Wednesday with Daniel Maske, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Luke Simmons, Neal Thompson, Matthew Weavers, Harry Lee Bard, Greg Birk and Glennon Johnson.
