EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Otis Ray Hise, 69, died Oct. 14, 2016, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born July 27, 1947, in East Prairie, to the late Otis and Ruth Mae Brenton White, he served in the United States Army and was of the Pentecostal belief. He was a commercial fisherman and wood worker.
On Jan. 9, 1982, in East Prairie, he married Carla Maynard Hise who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Otis Ray Hise Jr. of Caruthersville; six daughters, Raylene Hise of New Madrid, Michelle Wallace of Benton, Glenda Campbell of Nixa, Shirley Patton of Portageville, Loretta Hatton of East Prairie and Remonda Maynard of Branson; three brothers, J.T. Hise of West Plains, Sammie Hise of Sikeston and Ricky Hise of Gasnoll, Ark.; four sisters, Jannet Pierce of Gosnell, Ark., Evata Roland, Tenn., Theresa Smith of Redwood, Minn., and Georgia Calton of St. Louis; and 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Arnold Hise, O.J. Hise and Alfred Hise; one sister, Leona Hise; one daughter, Kaye Maynard Harvey; and one son-in-law, Billy Hatton Jr. preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Mike Wolford officiating.
Burial will follow at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
