EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. - Janet Irene Kirby, 62, died Dec. 6, 2016, at the Willow Creek Rehab Center in Belleville, Ill.

Born Feb. 13, 1954, in Charleston, to the late Everett and Hattie Vivian Stone Patrick, she was employed in the bakery department of McDonald's Food Mart.

She was married to George Kirby, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: two daughters, Tammy McDowell of Texarkana, Texas, and Janette Kirby of Hot Springs, Ark.; two brothers, Ronnie Patrick of Huntsville, Ala., and Roy Patrick of Anniston; two sisters, Evelyn of the state of Ohio and Laverne of Scott City; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Bill Patrick, Rick Patrick, Stephen Patrick, David Patrick and Mike Patrick; and one sister, Dorothy.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday. Wayne Kirkpatrick, pastor of the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Jordan Kirby, Mike Burns, Charles Kirby, Louis Kirby, Phillip Johnson and Steve Garnett.
