Alma Farrenburg

NEW MADRID, Mo., - Alma Pauline Farrenburg, 95, died March 9, 2017, at the New Madrid Living Center.

Born May 10, 1921, in Morrilton, Ark., to the late James and Mabel Gordon Williams, she was a housewife and member of the Farrenburg Brethren Church

On July 13, 1941, at Lilbourn, she married Cecil J. Farrenburg, who preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 1985.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Higgerson and Frances Nowell.

Survivors include: one son, Jim W. Farrenburg of New Madrid; one daughter Sharon Farrenburg of New Madrid; two granddaughters, Jean Ann Morris and Lisa Dawn Felton; three great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at the Farrenburg Brethren Church with the Rev. Tim Farrenburg officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
