CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Sammy J. Isaacs, 76, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at his home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 22, 1941, in West Frankfort, Ill., to Ralph and Ivern Daniels
He and Rose Randol were married Nov. 13, 1960, in Morley, Mo.
Sammy retired from the Chrysler Assembly Plant in Fenton, Mo.
He had attended Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Isaacs; son, Scott Isaacs both of Cape
Girardeau; two daughters, Cheryl Altrogge of Fenton and Melissa
(Jeff) Presson of Affton, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jessica, Kimberly,
Kayla, Justin and Autumn; three great-grandchildren, Jada, Dylan and
Kathleen; mother-in-law Edith Adams and stepfather-in-law, Ben Adams, both of
Cape Girardeau; four sisters-in-law, Maxine Abernathy of Oran, Mo.,
Sally Thurlkill of Cape Girardeau and Connie Randol (Rex Grossman) and Sherri
(Scott) Summers both of Osgood, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Silas Randol; and two
brothers-in-law, Jimmy Abernathy and Bill Thurlkill.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt.
Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m.Thursday at the funeral home with the
Rev. Mark Anderson officiating.
Burial will be at New Morley Cemetery in Morley with Ford & Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
