SIKESTON -- Robert Earl Laminack, 62, died June 27, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 9, 1954, in Dexter, son of the late Gordon Edward and Mary Sue Kitchen Laminack, he was originally from the Morehouse area and had attended the First Oneness Pentecostal Church. He had been an oil field worker in Oklahoma, then a welder and steel fabricator at Al Stevens Steel in Overland Park, Kan. He later worked as a machine operator at Gold Bond Ice Cream in Sikeston.

Survivors include: his companion of many years, Cathy Blankinship of the home; one son, Robert Mitchell Laminack of Kingsland, Texas; three brothers, Russell Edward Laminack of Morehouse, Roger Dale Laminack of Doniphan and Danny Lee Laminack of Bell City; three sisters, Audrey Cheryl Shaw of Sikeston, Paula Darlene McArthur of Miner and Darla Jane Laminack of Morehouse.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Scott Sutton, pastor of New Life Ministries at New Madrid, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Brandon Laminack, Zachary Laminack, Joel Wayne Sutton Jr., Levi Curry, Brian Curry and Kevin Sutton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Bone and Bill McIntyre.
