DEER, Ark. - Doris Naomi Adams, 93, formerly of rural Sikeston, Mo., died July 2, 2017, at North West Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison, Ark.
She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Newton County, Ark., to the late Willis Robinson and May Ogden Robinson.
On Sept. 25, 1939, in Newton County, she married James Hearold Adams, who survives of the home in Deer.
She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Verla and Vernie Heydenreich of Deer; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Wallas Adams, who died April 18, 1997; two brothers; and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday. Donald Adams and Jerry Adams will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter, Mo.
Pallbearers will be will be Vernie Heydenreich, Mitchell Shaw, Zachary Shaw, Wesley Shaw, Chris Lee and Jerod Tomason.
