Eric Joe Richardson

NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Eric Josephus Richardson, 57, died Sept. 19, 2017, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Aug. 19, 1960, in Sikeston, to the late Willie B. and Grethel Allison Richardson, he was a 1978 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School in New Madrid and a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in LaForge. He was a lifelong farmer.

Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Eric Daniels of New Madrid and Justin and Victoria Richardson of Bethesda, Md.; two daughters, Sharee Daniels of Jonesboro, Ark., and Monique Daniels of St. Charles; six stepchildren, Natashia Daniels of St. Charles, Shundrick Daniels of Columbia, Deidra Daniels of Dyersburg, Tenn., Shirell Henry of New Madrid and Ariel Daniels and Ashlin Daniels of Howardville; one sister, June Davis of St. Louis; and 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Five siblings preceded him in death, Willie Mae, Dorothy, Cecil, Derretrous Marie and Reginald Wayne.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery.
