SIKESTON -- The Rev. Dale Frazier Fish, age 68, died Oct. 31, 2017, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 12, 1949 -- 6,000 feet above the city of Los Angeles, Calif.-- he was the son of the late Barney and Ima Jean (Mays) Fish. He was also raised by Martha Whitworth of Henryetta, Okla., and the late Artie Whitworth.

He was a former pastor and teacher before retiring.

On Oct. 20, 2012, he married Mary Lou (Burnett) Fish; she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and foster mother, survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Melissa McDowell of Sikeston, Rachel and Tommy Raley of Solsberry, Ind., and Tamara and Mike Cooper of Moore, Okla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Darwin and Debbie Moore of Tecumseh, Okla., and Marcus and Donna Whitworth of Henryetta, Okla.; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Carol and Richard Long of Wagoner, Okla., Rhonda Haumpo of Yukon, Okla., Debbie and Mike Mason of Surfside Beach, S.C., Brenda and Frank Crawley of Noble, Okla., and Claudia and Uldis Reinfelds of Edmond, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Christian Raley and Savannah Raley both of Solsberry, Ind.

In addition to both his parents and foster father, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Fish; and one sister, Mary Ann Hall.

There will be a memorial service held Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Church of the Nazarene. Melissa McDowell will officiate.

There will be a second memorial service held in Oklahoma to be announced at a later date.

Ponder Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
