SIKESTON -- Grady Gregory, 95, died Nov. 7, 2017, at Delta South Skilled Nursing Facility in Sikeston.

Born July 1, 1922, in Parma, son of the late John Gregory and Clenny Barrett Gregory, he was an employee for the Frisco Railroad for 17 years and was a former grocery store owner in Parma for 23 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Morehouse.

On Jan. 19, 1943, he married Eva Jane Bell, who preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 2015.

Survivors include: two sons, Reggie Gregory and Teresa of Advance and Steven Neil Gregory and wife Belinda of Malden; one daughter, Nina Jean Graves and husband Mel of Sikeston; daughter-in-law, Angie Gregory of Dudley; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Granville "Cate" Gregory; and six brothers and four sisters.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with his nephew, Joe Gregory, speaking.

Burial will follow at the Parma Cemetery.
