BENTON, Mo. -- Juanita Mae Lee, 89, formerly of Poplar Bluff, died Dec. 11, 2017, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
Born Aug. 23, 1928, in Marmaduke, Ark., daughter of the late Holland and Lillie Hickson Herndon, she was a member of the Unity Baptist Church of Benton. She was a department manager for Wal-Mart in Poplar Bluff for over 17 years.
On Dec. 14, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., she married Buren Lee, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2011.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Janet Lee and Sterl Kline; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Susan Lee; a granddaughter, Rachel Abernathy; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Friday at Unity Baptist Church in Benton with the Rev. Dennis Lowe, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sikeston.
