NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Sandra Ann Cooper, 38, died Jan. 4, 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born April 14, 1979, in Gibson, Tenn., daughter of the late Isaac Payne and Betty Jean Mays Payne, she attended New Madrid County Central High School in New Madrid. She was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in New Madrid. She was a former member of Friendship Church of God in Christ in Howardville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lavoy Tuggle Jr. and KeJuan Cooper; and her grandmother, Flossie Mays.
Survivors include: three brothers, Otis (Annalee) Cooper of Aurora, Colo., Isaac (Latrina) Cooper of Sikeston and Antonio (Easter) Cooper of New Madrid;, one sister, Sherry Cooper of New Madrid; and a special friend, Lavoy Tuggle of New Madrid.
Visitation is from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in New Madrid with Robert Anderson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery at New Madrid with the Williams Funeral Home of Howardville in charge of arrangements.
