SIKESTON -- Anderson "Bill" Walker Jr., 77, died March 15, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born June 4, 1940, in Osceola, Ark., son of the late Anderson Walker Sr. and Melinda Walker, he was a member of Trinity Gospel Church and had worked for Sikeston Department of Public Safety until retiring in 1991.
On Aug. 4, 1981, he married Teresa Tarrants Walker; she survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Lori Walker and Christopher and Odella Walker of Nashville, Tenn., and Anderson and Amber Walker III of Lake City, Tenn.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammy Thomas, Felicia and Moe Falls and Monique and Eddie Jenkins of Nashville; one stepdaughter and her husband, Heidi and Jeffery Stover of Malden; one brother, Bobby Johnson of St. Louis; and 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Len Meyers Jr., pastor, will officiate.
Members of Sikeston Department of Public Safety will serve as pallbearers.
