Pink out

Staff and students at Matthews Elementary in Matthews declared Oct. 13 as "Pink Out" day. While celebrating the Peace Builders of the month, Cathey Daniels was introduced as the first Community Peace Builder and as a cancer survivor. Daniels lead the students in the pledge of allegiance and the Peace Builders pledge.
