Watkins, Alkilani named SHS/SPS Students of the Month for September

SIKESTON -- Zachary James Watkins and Fadl Alkilani were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for September.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2017-2018 school year.

Watkins is the son of Paula Watkins and Darin Watkins and a member of Drama Club, National Honor Society and STEAM Club. His former activities include football, baseball, wrestling, Key Club and Chamber Choir. In his spare time, he enjoys acting, singing and playing video games.

Alkilani, who is the son of Muhammad and Hadeel Alkilani, is the the section leader for marching band, president of Model UN, FBLA member, drafting committee member, ASTRA Club president, National Honor Society member and A+ Program tutoring participant. He was recently a member of jazz band. His hobbies include coding, reading and swimming.
