SIKESTON -- David Allen Bruch, 60, died June 10, 2017, at his home near Sikeston.

Born Aug. 22, 1956, in St. Louis, to Seltania Kay Wood Bruch Tate of Eminence and the late Dale E. Bruch, he was a longtime resident of the Sikeston area. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and owned and operated Tri-State Crawler Service in Miner.

On April 19, 1975, at Elllington, he married Phyllis Helen Penn, and she survives of the home.

He is also survived by one son, Justin Allen Bruch of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law Tabitha and Brian L. Thompson of Jackson and Sabrina and Blake Jones of Sikeston; two brothers, Johnny Tate of St. Louis and Emmett Tate of Eminence; and two sisters, Delia McDowell of Springfield and Debbie Hervatin of Wentzville; and four grandchildren.

His adopted mother, Wanda Bruch, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Alan J. Wollenburg, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow at Blodgett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Brian Thompson, Blake Jones, Brian Bowles, Greg Copeland, Brad Elsworth and Emmett Tate.
