'Deon' Thompson

HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. - Dennis Damion "Deon" Thompson, 39, formerly of Oran, died June 11, 2017, in Jefferson City.

Born March 17, 1978, in Miami, Fla., to Patricia Thompson-McBride of Cape Girardeau and Dennis Thompson of Louisville, Ga., he attended the Blissett Temple Church of God in Oran and Higher Dimension Ministry International in Jefferson City. He graduated from Scott County Central High School in 1997.

In addition to his parents, Deon is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Adrian and Nicole Thompson of Cape Girardeau; and one sister, Dwashon Thompson of Louisville, Ga.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at Christ Church of the Heartland, 720 Bertling St. in Cape Girardeau. Bishop Ronnie Webb will officiate.

Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
