PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. -- Emily Carol Gee, 59, died Aug. 17, 2017, at her home in Portageville.
Born Dec. 26, 1957, in Hayti, daughter of Letha Pigg Eftink of Portageville and the late Andrew John Eftink, she was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church along with the Ladies of Sodality. She also served as Board member on the Divine Holiness Outreach. She was COO of Extended Health Services in Hayti. Emily graduated at Portageville High School in 1976 and received her BS in nursing at Southeast Missouri State University.
On July 16, 1977, at St Eustachius Church in Portageville, she married Robert "Bobby" Gee, who survives of the home in Portageville.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Erin and Michael Jeffries of Portageville and Sarah and Adam Graddy of Springfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Karen Eftink of Portageville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Larry Coleman of Portageville and Becky and Phil Hawkins of Blytheville, Ark.; and four grandchildren, Connor and Brayden Jeffries and Reagan and Hayden Graddy.
Preceding her in death was her father, Andrew John Eftink, on Dec. 6, 2014; one sister, Ruth Ann Mussarella; one niece, Sandra Kaye Mussarella; and her son-in-law, Jack Petrovich, in 2006.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Robles officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
