SIKESTON -- Kevan Aldo Beck, 66, died Aug. 19, 2017, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 27, 1951, in St. Louis, to the late Woodrow and Gwen Coots Beck, he was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of First Baptist Church of Sikeston and the V.F.W. in Chaffee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and had been a farmer and truck driver.

On Nov. 18, 1977, in Sikeston, he married Dixie Lee Booker, and she survives of the home.

Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Samantha Beck of Fruitland; one daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Craig Myer of Sikeston; one brother, Allan Beck of Wheaton, Ill., and two grandsons.

Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with the Rev. David Ross, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating followed by full military honors.
