Mr. and Mrs. John Fuchs Jr.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. ó†Jessie Ann Russell and John William Fuchs Jr. were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. ceremony Nov. 4, 2017, at the Terry House in Little Rock, Ark. The wedding was officiated by Charles Monan. The ceremony music was performed by the John Jarboe String Quartet.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Kenneth Russell of Talihina, Okla., and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schuerenberg of Sikeston, Mo., and the late John William Fuchs Sr.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a classic ivory, silk wedding gown with a long skirt that flowed into a cathedral train. Over the dress, she wore a delicate lace jacket with lace-covered buttons down the back. Her cathedral-length, sheer tulle veil was borrowed from her sister and matron of honor, Aubrey Huber of Fayetteville. Her bridesmaids were Caroline Russell of McAlester, Okla.; Garth Fuchs of Sikeston; Carly Jones of Talihina; Stephanie Cooper of New York, N.Y.; Lucy Maniero of Fresno, Calif.; Lydia Royce of Norman, Okla.; Savannah Phillips of Edmond, Okla.; Paige London of Little Rock; and Caroline Makris of Little Rock.

The groomís godson, William Jefferson DeWitt, served as the ring bearer. Taylor Killion of Mission, Kan., was the best man. The groomsmen were John Russell of McAlester; Austin Marshall of Nashville, Tenn.; Will Fuchs of Boca Raton, Fla.; Brandon DeWitt of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Beck Barnes of Memphis, Tenn.; Timbo Taylor of Mountain Brook, Ala.; Kyle Duncan of Dexter, Mo.; Jake Curtis of St. Louis, Mo.; and Adam Hahs of Chandler, Ariz. Serving as ushers were Kasper Huber of Fayetteville; Chris Meyer of Cape Girardeau; Craig Jobe of St. Louis; and Perry Taylor of Jackson, Miss.

The reception was held at the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock immediately after the ceremony. Southern fare was served and guests enjoyed music provided by the band, Funky Town of Memphis.

A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groomís parents was held Nov. 3 at the Capital Hotel.

The new Mrs. Fuchs, 31, is an artist and designer based in Little Rock. She is the owner of an invitation business where she designs custom wedding invitations and paper goods. She graduated with design degrees from Harding University in Searcy and Pratt Institute in New York City.

Fuchs, 33, is a civil engineer and partner at Grubbs Engineers in Little Rock. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelorís degree in civil engineering and later from Oklahoma State University where he received a masterís degree in agricultural engineering.

After a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple is residing in Little Rock.
