Dottye Lefler

SIKESTON — Dottye M. Lefler, 88, died May 12, 2018, at Saint Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 24, 1929, in Elizabethtown, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Claude and Gladys Turner Bonifield.

Her husband, George D. Lefler, preceded her in death in 1994.

Other survivors include: three sons, Darin Ouellet of Cape Girardeau and Derek Lefler and Dan Lefler of Wappapello; one daughter, Danna Thurmon of Lincoln, Calif.; and eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
