Sikeston downtown is just fine

I just read “Time to Upgrade” and it says it is time to upgrade Sikeston. I totally agree, which committees have you volunteered to serve on? And when have you been to a city council meeting? Downtown has gotten lots of improvements. We have Parengo Coffee, we have a little bakery, we’ve got antique stores, Jeremiah’s the other night had outdoor dining and music. I think you just have to grow where you are planted and you see there are all kinds of things you can volunteer for. Every day you could be busy doing something positive for your community. This article just made me laugh. They travel every weekend when they could be staying right here and keeping busy because there is always something to do in your community.
