Virgil Jaco

NEW MADRID, Mo. — Virgil Lee Jaco, 80, died Oct. 2, 2018, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 12, 1938, in Sedgewickville, son of Harley and Hazel Crites Jaco, he worked 24 years at Noranda Aluminum in Marston and was a member of First Church of God in Lilbourn.
On Oct. 7, 1960, in New Madrid, he married Charlotte Sue Jaco.
Survivors include: his two daughters, Angela (Dwight) Walker of New Madrid and Crystal D. (Scott) Jarvis of Benton; one son, Buford Lee (Teresa) Jaco of Dexter; one sister, Shelby Looney of Delta; four brothers, Ed Jaco of Benton, Jerry Jaco of Scott City, Harley Ray Jaco and Charles Jaco of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Dodi Townsend officiating.
Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
