BELLEVILLE, Ill. — Jeffrey Johnson, 52, died Oct. 5, 2018, at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville.
Born Dec. 12, 1965, at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Mountain Home, Idaho, son of Bobby and Margaret Brown Johnson of New Madrid, Mo., he was owner of Jeffrey Johnson Trucking Co. until his retirement due to ill health.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: one brother, David Johnson of Kewanee, Mo.; one niece, Danielle Johnson of Columbia, Mo.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m Wednesday at Pentecostal Church in NEw Madrid with G.L. Keene and Pete Vent officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
Pallbearers will be: John Henry Jr., Jason Minehart, Tommy Branum, David Johnson, Morris Branam, Cliff Stafford, Stan Jones and Terry Stevens.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bruce Gilmer, J.T. Johnson, Jim Hall, Wayne Farrenburg and John D. Henry Sr.
Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
