Christmas Kettle Campaign volunters needed in Sikeston

Wednesday, November 7, 2018

Dear Mike,

In 1891 the Salvation Army started the Christmas Kettle effort as a means to provide a free Christmas dinner for area poor. Today, the Christmas Kettle Campaign of the Sikeston Area Service Unit of the Salvation Army helps us provide assistance to those that are in need year round. The assistance that we provide is temporary and is not intended for continued social welfare. We are there to give a hand up, not a hand out.

We need volunteers to help our local Campaign for Sikeston. If you are interested in helping us ring the bell, please call me at (573) 703-2958.

Thank you,

Steve Sikes,

Board Chairman

Sikeston Service Unit
