Joe Riley

MINER, Mo. — Joseph Franklin “Joe” Riley, 78, formerly of Wyatt, died Dec. 3, 2018, at the Miner Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 7, 1940, in Birds Point Community, son of the late Frank Riley and Mary Nolen Riley, he had lived his entire life in Mississippi County where he was a farmer and of the Catholic belief.
Survivors include: two sisters, Shirley Riley Lashley and Margaret Riley Watkins of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Hugh Watkins of Cincinnati; and many nephews and nieces.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifton Rileyand Claude Riley; two sisters, Myrtle Laster and Dorothy Fisher; and a brother-in-law, Jack Lashley.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. David Dohogne will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: his nephews, Ronnie Riley, Scott Riley, Bob Whitehouse and Hugh Watkins III.
