WASHINGTON, Mo. — Margie Caldwell Lynch Thompson, 87, died Jan. 20, 2019, at The Homestead at Hickory View.

Born Feb. 15, 1931, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late Early Ernest and wife Beulah Calvin Caldwell. For many years, she was a real estate agent in Franklin County. In the 1970s, she established and owned The Shoe Tree in Union. In the 1980s, she worked as an events coordinator at the Holiday Inn in Eureka and Drury Inn in St. Louis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore Lee Lynch II; one son, Theodore Lee Lynch III; her second husband, Parke H. Thompson; one brother, Harold Caldwell; two sisters Jeanette Frazier and LaVerne Stearn; and one stepdaughter, Laura Thompson.

Survivors include: four daughters, Karen Nelson (David) of Denver, N.C., Jane Haberberger (Garry) of Washington, Sara Lynch and Martha Owens of Union; one brother, Barney Caldwell of Sikeston; and six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington.

A private inurnment will take place in Union City Cemetery at Union.
