The Christian Academy gears up for annual dinner/auction fundraiser
SIKESTON — Ticket sales for the The Christian Academy’s Eighth Annual Dinner Auction/Fundraiser close Feb. 15.
The event is set for Feb. 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, and doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Tasteful Creations Catering will provide the attendee’s choice of pork loin or grilled chicken for the meal. The silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m. and the live auction at 7 p.m.
TCA Patron and Corporate sponsorships are available. They include: TCA Patron Table for $500 and includes a reserved table with eight tickets, served dinner, dessert and ad recognition; Corporate Sponsor Table for $350 and includes a reserved table with eight tickets, first to buffet and ad recognition; and table sponsor for $125 which reserves a table for sponsor purchaser and their guests (dinner tickets must be purchased separately).
General seating is $35 for adults and $20 for children ages 10 and under. There will also be an on-site childcare and pizza dinner provided for children ages 18 months to 10 years for $10 per child.
Tickets for a donation drawing gun raffle are $20 each. The prize includes two Ruger EC9s, 9mm pistols; two range memberships and two conceal and cary classes. The drawing is Feb. 22 and the winner does not have to be present at the event. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance at the school up until the night of the fundraiser.
Product and monetary donations are also being accepted and can be dropped off at the elementary office.
