EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Harold Eugene Myers, 49, died Feb. 21, 2019, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Matthews. 

Born Nov. 2, 1969, in Charleston, to Virginia Ruth Matthews O’Dell of New Madrid and the late Matthew Harold Myers, he was employed as a manager at Love’s Travel Center in Matthews. He was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston.

On March 20, 2009, he married Kendra Kindle Myers, who survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: one son, Camden Myers (Amanda Lalk) of Sikeston; two daughters, Tallie Myers (Austin Teichman) of East Prairie and Presley Myers (Noah Walton) of East Prairie; the mother of his children, Marcia Myers of East Prairie; sons Jason (Megan) Sutton of East Prairie and Alex (Sarah) Sutton of East Prairie; two brothers, Wayne O’Dell of DuQuoin, Ill., and Howard Myers of St. Louis; and three sisters, Sandra Jamerson, Carla Ditto and Maria Brown of East Prairie; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elm Street Baptist Church with Jon Archie, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park. 

Pallbearers will be: Charlie Marcum, Kenny Kindle, Reid Howell, A.J. Archie, Chad Jamerson, Corey Jamerson, Blake Atkinson, Chucky Atkinson and Jim Blumenberg.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of all arrangements.
