SIKESTON — Mary Lois Lambert, 89, a longtime resident of Sikeston, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born May 5, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., daughter of the late Grover and Julia Ann (Robinson) Hadder, she was a member of the Church of Christ. She had operated an in-home daycare for many years.
On July 2, 1948, she married Hoyt Lambert, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1963.
She is survived by three sons, Hoyt Michael (Beverly) Lambert of Highland, Ill.; Warren (Andrea) Lambert of Collinsville, Ill., and Timothy Lambert of Scott City; one daughter, Susan (Ricky) Tidwell of Sikeston; eight grandchildren: Hoyt M. Lambert III, Andrea Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Laura Tobin, Warren Lambert Jr., Krystal Rossetto, Robby Hamby and Ricci Tidwell. Also surviving are 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 30 from 11 a.m. until time for services at 1 p.m. at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. Her nephew, the Rev. Wayne Painter of Alexandria, La., will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
