GRAYRIDGE, Mo. — Tyler Maddox, son of Bethany Stanberry Maddox of Grayridge and the late Kevin Maddox, was born on May 28, 1995, in Poplar Bluff, and departed this life on March 27, 2019, at his residence near Grayridge at the age of 23 years.
Mr. Maddox was a former farm laborer with Conner Farms. He was a 2014 graduate of Richland High School.
He is survived by his mother, Bethany; his brother, Austin Maddox of Grayridge; his sister, Mackenzie Maddox of Grayridge; his paternal grandfather, Robert “Bob” Maddox of Grayridge; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Cobb Cruse of Poplar Bluff; his maternal great-grandmother, Martha Louise Stanberry; his nephew, Kevin Lee Maddox; two uncles, Steven Michael Cruse and Chad Maddox; his aunt, Michelle Stanberry; his cousins, Paige Stroud, Trey Appleton and Kenneth Stanberry; his best friend, Jeremey Davis; and his beloved dog, Roscoe.
Besides his father, Kevin, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Houston Stanberry; his maternal grandmother, Mary Beth Haley; his paternal great-grandparents, C. L. “Wig” and Vivian Maddox; and his maternal great-grandfather, Houston Stanberry.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, April 1, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James Malloy officiating.
