SIKESTON — Dorothy Lucille Westhoff Uthoff, 102, formerly of Charleston, died March 31, 2019, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Oct. 27, 1916, in Litchfield, Ill., to the late Dietrich Gerdes Westhoff and Frances Margaret Schoen Westhoff, she had lived several years in rural Charleston where she and her husband were engaged in farming. She was a longtime member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston. In 2005, she moved to Sikeston.
On July 18, 1944, she married Harold Lee Uthoff, who preceded her in death June 17, 1998.
Surviving are two grandsons, Steven (Sheila) Lee and Mark Lee of Sikeston; one sister, Jean Schultze of Troy, Ill.; and five great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Jean and Harold Lee; three brothers, Lester Westhoff, Harold Westhoff and George Westhoff; and three sisters, Helen Gartner, Elda Weller and Alice Schwab.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Alan J. Wollenburg, pastor of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
