COLUMBUS, Ga. — Inez Holder, 97, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died April 5, 2019, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Columbus.

Born June 24, 1921, in Murray, Ky., daughter of the late Perry Delmer and Bessie Lee Hendrick Daniel, she lived in Dexter most of her life before moving to Georgia. She had been a member for many years of the First Church of the Nazarene in Dexter. She retired in 1979 from the Stovall's Department Store in Dexter.

On Nov. 24, 1938, in Dexter, she married William Berry Holder, who preceded her in death on May 20, 2002.

Survivors include: three sons and wives, William Berry Jr. "Bill" and Alice Holder of Scottsboro, Ala., Jerry and Joan Holder of Columbus and Larry and Mary Holder of Bourbonnais, Ill.; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Burie, George Earl, Brad, Dallas and Perry Daniel; and four sisters, Lucille Biggerstaff, Delmer Milton, Ruby Daniel and Pat Watkins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Mike Williams of Dexter officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
