ScC superintendent honored

Dr. Howard Benyon, superintendent of the Scott County Central School District School District was among eight Missouri superintendents recognized by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) for outstanding performance as a new superintendent. Benyon was nominated for the honor by his colleagues in the Southeast MASA District. He was honored March 27 during the awards banquet at the MASA Spring Conference. The award is presented annually to superintendents who are in their second or third year of employment as superintendent and have made a measurable contribution to the school district which they serve.
