Three Sikeston students qualify for state festival

SIKESTON — Three Sikeston High School students have qualified for MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Festival.

Taylor Graham, Heaven Moore and Lilly Powell each qualified a solo, and they also qualified a Women’s Trio after participating in MSHSAA District Solo/Ensemble Adjudicated Festival March 14 in Cape Girardeau.

Each of the girls receives additional music lessons through the St. Paul’s Chorister School which is an educational academic program offered by St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Sikeston.

The program is administrated by Abraham H. Leach, church choirmaster and organist.
