EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Tammy Lee Gifford, 48, died June 1, 2019, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 28, 1970, in Chaffee, daughter of Doyle Wayne Leazenby of Jackson and Sharon Lee Coleman Probst of McClure, Ill., she was employed as a custodial supervisor for East Prairie R-2 School District.
On Oct. 20, 2000, in East Prairie, she married Daniel Gifford, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include: her stepfather, Ronnie Probst of McClure; her stepmother, Linda Leazenby of Jackson; one son, Kaleb (Chelsea) Gifford of East Prairie; four daughters, Brittany (Justin) Scott of East Prairie, Mandy (Mikie Sherfield) Knupp of East Prairie, Taylor (Cody Williams) Luebbers of Sikeston and Sarah Gifford of East Prairie; two stepsons, Daniel (Chelsea) Gifford Jr. of East Prairie and Austin Gifford of East Prairie; one brother, Joe Leazenby of Jackson; two sisters, Juanita Fox of Jackson and Rachel Cook of Farmington; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, were services will be at 1 p.m. Friday with Eric McGruder officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Ronald Watson Sr., Ronald Watson Jr., William Thorne, Collin Sehie, Chuck Baker and Preston Gifford.
