Dexter man killed in Sunday morning accident
DEXTER, Mo. — A Dexter man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Casey J. Perry, 38, was traveling westbound at 6:15 a.m. on Missouri 114, a 1/4 mile east of Dexter when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned and caught fire.
Perry was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:44 a.m. by Stoddard County Coroner Kenny Pope. It is the 28th fatality in Troop E for 2019.
