8 SHS freshman to vie for Junior Miss Sikeston Thursday

SIKESTON Eight Sikeston High School freshmen will be vying for the title of Junior Miss Sikeston Thursday night at 8 p.m. at the American Legion Cotton Carnival held at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Grounds.

Lindsay Byrd, daughter of Shawn and Christy Byrd, is a member of varsity cheerleading, concert band, Red Peppers, FCA, ASTRA, FBLA, Spanish Club, Key Club, TAP and works at Bulldog Preschool for A+.

Blair Durham, daughter of David and Becky Durham, is a varsity cheerleader, Red Pepper, FBLA, FCA, A+ Program and is a member of Key Club.

Morgan Fitzgerald, daughter of Cory and Melissa Fitzgerald, is a member of cheerleading, Red Peppers and FCA.

Isabella Guzman, daughter of Jessica and Francisco Guzman, is a member of high school cheerleading, secretary of freshman student council, orchestra and A+ Program.

Ahnna Lawrence, daughter of Heather Lawrence and the late Aaron Lawrence, is a member of softball, Red Peppers and the A+ Program.

Zoie McDonald, daughter of Tisa McDonald and the late Brad McDonald, is a varsity cheerleader, Red Pepper and is in concert band, jazz band, A+ Program, FCA and FBLA.

Emily Riley, daughter of Trey and Lela Riley, is a cheerleader and member of the track team and FFA.

Emma-Claire Self, daughter of Jared and Kaci Self, is a member of the volleyball team, FCA, Red Peppers and chamber orchestra.
