Samuel Warfield
SIKESTON — Samuel Dwayne Warfield, 65, died Oct. 13, 2019, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born May 19, 1954, in Sikeston, son of Bernice Warfield Howard of Sikeston and the late Samuel R. James, he attended Sikeston Senior High School in Sikeston.
He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary James; one sister, Sherrel James and five brothers, Robert Howard, Ronald Howard, Donald Howard, Allen Howard and Calvin Howard.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: seven brothers, Franklin Howard, Terrence Howard, Darryl (Valeria) Howard, Vince (Astrid) Howard and Bryon Howard of Sikeston, Anthony (Kathy) James of Chicago and Gerald (Vernecia) Howard of Spokane, Wash.; one sister, Vickie Howard of St. Louis; and four aunts, and three uncles.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. until service time at until 2 p.m. Friday at New Direction Outreach Ministries in Sikeston with the pastor, Dr. Lamonte Calvin, officiating. Burial will follow in the Warfield Cemetery at Oran with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
