Geneva Givens
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Geneva Maxine Givens, 74, died Nov. 2, 2019, at Southeast Health Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 17, 1945, in Wolf Island, daughter of the late Anderson and Maxine Smith Moore, she was a restaurant owner/operator.
Survivors include: one son, Ray (Tammy) Givens of East Prairie; two daughters, Betty (Jeff) Hartlein of Sikeston and Rineva Brewer (Jerry Taylor) of East Prairie; two brothers, Charles Moore and Lester Moore of East Prairie; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Terry Lynn Brooks.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. James General Baptist Church in East Prairie with David Dowdy officiating.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
