Johnson promoted to Loan Officer at FSTB-Caruthersville branch

Caruthersville, Mo. – First State Bank & Trust Co., Inc. recently promoted Jeanie Johnson to a loan officer at the Caruthersville branch. Her new responsibilities include evaluating and approving real estate, auto, and personal loans.

“Jeanie has a proven record of effective financial analysis,” said Trey Cain, south market president. “Each of our loan officers is carefully selected based on their attention to detail, thorough understanding of our mission to provide superior service and ability to strategically guide our customers. Jeanie goes above and beyond in this aspect.”

Johnson joined FSBT in early 2018 as a lending assistant. After a few months, she took on the role of title company assistant. Before joining the bank, she lived in Atlanta, Ga., for almost 25 years. In Georgia, she sold new homes as a realtor and operated as a consultant for builders. She brings immense knowledge of the home construction industry to all of her roles. Originally from Portageville, Johnson returned in July 2017 and started her family.

“Southeast Missouri continues to reward me for coming home,” said Johnson. “As a loan officer, I plan to pay it forward, bringing families and opportunities together.”
