SIKESTON — Cynthia Ellen "Cindy" Ables, 64, a lifelong resident of Sikeston, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at her home in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 3, 1955, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Clennis Elwood and Bobby Dean Woolford Ables, Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Sikeston High School and then worked for Canedy Sign Company. She later attended and then graduated from Metro Business College in 1990 after which she was employed at Saint Francis Medical Center and Ferguson Medical Group. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, and her hobbies were drawing, painting and crafts, and she loved her dogs, family and friends.
Survivors include: one brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Delores Ables of Sikeston; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Andrea and Randall Lim of Santa Ana, Calif., and Leslie and Jon Jackson of Southhaven, Miss.; two nieces; three nephews and a very special friend, Cathy Blankinship.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at Blanchard Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Randall Lim, Jon Jackson, Zachary Tow, Robert Russell, Daniel Russell and Pat Shaw.
